Kwang-hyun finds his father dead asbyDuringforininsideintoofonovertounderwith the cave. His father had written asbyDuringforininsideintoofonovertounderwith the ground asbyDuringforininsideintoofonovertounderwith his own blood the name “Kang Dojun.” Kwang-hyun covers his father’s body asbyDuringforininsideintoofonovertounderwith leaves and promises to come back.

asbyDuringforininsideintoofonovertounderwith the soldiers still after Kwang-hyun, he gets cornered asbyDuringforininsideintoofonovertounderwith a cliff. He gets hit asbyDuringforininsideintoofonovertounderwith an arrow fired asbyDuringforininsideintoofonovertounderwith one asbyDuringforininsideintoofonovertounderwith Myung-hwan’s men. He topples asbyDuringforininsideintoofonovertounderwith the cliff and asbyDuringforininsideintoofonovertounderwith the river below. The soldiers report back that he is dead.

Overnight, Yongdal’s fortunes change; she is now a noble and the only heir asbyDuringforininsideintoofonovertounderwith immense wealth. To safeguard her assets, Myung-hwan is appointed asbyDuringforininsideintoofonovertounderwith her guardian, and he takes her asbyDuringforininsideintoofonovertounderwith her new home.
But Yongdal continues to grieve over Kwang-hyun’s death, refusing to throw away the sandal that Kwang-hyun gave her.

Kwang-hyun survives, however, and becomes a slave asbyDuringforininsideintoofonovertounderwith a horse ranch. Horse doctor Kibae and his younger brother Jabong befriend Kwang-hyun and take him asbyDuringforininsideintoofonovertounderwith their wings. He also meets asbyDuringforininsideintoofonovertounderwith the mountain a mysterious doctor who dissects dead animals.

One day, the ranch holds a fair asbyDuringforininsideintoofonovertounderwith people interested in buying its horses. Among those who come asbyDuringforininsideintoofonovertounderwith the ranch are Myung-hwan, his son Sungha, and Yongdal (now called Jinyung). asbyDuringforininsideintoofonovertounderwith the fair, Jinyung hears someone asbyDuringforininsideintoofonovertounderwith the crowd shout out the name “Kwang-hyun.”

Sungha (Myung-hwan’s son) gets kicked asbyDuringforininsideintoofonovertounderwith the chest asbyDuringforininsideintoofonovertounderwith Kwang-hyun’s runaway horse. He is treated asbyDuringforininsideintoofonovertounderwith Inju (Kang Dojun and Myung-hwan’s friend).

Inju has learned that Kang Dojun’s status has been restored. She is now searching asbyDuringforininsideintoofonovertounderwith Kang Dojun’s real heir.
